Meet MEND Wellness: A New Multidisciplinary Wellness Collective Opens in Phoenix’s Arcadia Neighborhood

PHOENIX, AZ — A new approach to wellness is taking shape in Phoenix’s Arcadia neighborhood. MEND Wellness, a multidisciplinary wellness collective founded by husband-and-wife team Elinore Beck and Dr. Michael Beck, brings medical care, movement, holistic practices and restorative therapies together under one roof.

Officially opening to the public following its October 10 grand opening celebration, MEND Wellness was created to make it easier for people to explore different approaches to well-being in one welcoming, connected environment.

Bringing Different Approaches to Wellness Together

For many people, maintaining a wellness routine means coordinating appointments with multiple providers at different locations. MEND aims to simplify that experience by bringing practitioners from a range of disciplines together in one space.

Its offerings include concierge medicine, men’s and women’s hormone health, medical weight management, fertility wellness, yoga, massage, acupuncture and Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, naturopathic medicine, Reiki, sound healing, chiropractic care, aesthetics and IV therapy.

The space is designed to feel warm, calming and community-oriented, offering an alternative to the traditional clinical setting. Clients can visit for individual appointments, participate in yoga classes or explore complementary services that support their personal wellness goals.

“Wellness should become part of the rhythm of your life, not another item on your to-do list,” said Elinore Beck, co-owner, general manager and yoga director at MEND Wellness.

Beck explained that the collective was created to help people connect different aspects of their wellness routines while building relationships with practitioners and other members of the community.

Creating Connection Through Community

Beyond individual appointments, MEND emphasizes the value of shared experiences and lasting relationships.

Its yoga program offers members a consistent place to practice, connect with others and build relationships within the collective. Yoga members also receive preferred pricing on select wellness services.

Couples can explore shared experiences such as massage, Reiki and sound healing, while individual practitioners provide services tailored to clients’ needs.

Beck said her years of teaching yoga showed her that people often seek more than a class. They also want a sense of belonging and a community where they feel supported.

At MEND, the goal is to foster those connections while making it easier for practitioners to collaborate across different wellness disciplines.

A Personal Journey Inspires Fertility Wellness Offerings

MEND’s fertility wellness offerings were shaped in part by Beck’s own experience navigating in vitro fertilization (IVF).

While medical care played a central role in her journey, she also explored yoga, acupuncture, Reiki and other practices to support her physical and emotional well-being.

That experience helped inspire her vision for a place where people navigating fertility challenges could find different forms of support within a welcoming community.

MEND’s fertility-focused offerings include yoga, acupuncture and Ayurveda. The collective also plans to introduce a free fertility support group for women navigating their own journeys.

The initiative reflects the founders’ interest in creating space for connection alongside professional care, recognizing that fertility journeys can involve emotional as well as physical challenges.

Grand Opening Celebrates a New Wellness Destination

MEND Wellness celebrated its grand opening on October 10 with a community open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The event featured wellness experiences, live demonstrations, mini consultations, guided tours and opportunities for attendees to meet the collective’s practitioners and learn more about available services.

With its doors now open, MEND invites the Phoenix community to explore its multidisciplinary approach to wellness through individual services and yoga memberships.
