Magnolia Personalized Medicine PC Reshapes Mind and Body
Dr. Ellie Wright founded Magnolia Personalized Medicine PC when she saw a need for natural healing treatment options in the Valley. Using research- and evidence-based protocols, Magnolia Personalized Medicine PC provides patients with a holistic approach to health and wellness.
“I wanted to create a unique model of practice,†says Dr. Wright. “Nature has been my inspiration because it brings peace, calm and health.â€
She received her doctoral degree in neuropathic medicine from the Southwest College of Neuropathic Medicine in Tempe and is licensed as a Naturopathic Physician in Arizona. Dr. Wright is also a medical researcher and international presenter for EGW Research Institute LLC where some of her current research includes the effects of pomegranate on breast cancer, research into obesity and inflammation, polyphenols use in the treatment and management of depression and the impact of omega-3 fatty acids in the prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease.
“My passion is natural medicine because I believe in the power of it,†says Dr. Wright. “My approach is evidence-based and research-based medical knowledge in treating chronic conditions.â€
The approach to treatment that is taken by Dr. Wright is to first look at the underlying cause of a patient’s condition using the least invasive methods of diagnosis available to any given situation. The goal, as stated on Magnolia Personalized Medicine PC’s website, is to “identify and then remove any type of underlying cause that is creating the illness and not to suppress symptoms.â€
“I started my practice with the desire to offer something that I did not receive when I was a patient: personalized approach, varieties of modalities and treatment options, education and building trust long-term doctor-patient relationships,†says Dr. Wright.
Dr. Wright finds inspiration in each patient that steps into Magnolia Personalized Health PC. Since every patient is individual and unique their care must be individual and unique as well in order to provide them with the appropriate care. She uses each individual case as an opportunity to be a doctor and a teacher, enhancing the lives of her patients through education and empowerment.
“I love when I see results,†says Dr. Wright. “My biggest joy comes from creating long-lasting professional relationships with my patients and seeing their health improving.â€
To personalize the diagnosis and treatment process with the patient, Dr. Wright starts by working with them to identify and remove the underlying cause of the condition. Once the root cause has been removed, she helps her patients replenish themselves through self-healing and holistic approaches that focus on treating the patient physically, mentally and emotionally. The final step of her personalized approach is to rejuvenate her patients through therapy, education and empowerment so they develop healthy lifestyles that will help prevent the development or recurrences of conditions and diseases.
“The modalities are based on the patient needs and preference,†says Dr. Wright. “Ultimately, the goal for the patient is being drug-free, nourished, energized and happy.â€
Magnolia Personalized Medicine PC addresses chronic conditions such as autoimmune diseases, metabolic syndrome, anxiety, fatigue, insomnia, allergies, bone health, hypercholesterolemia, and hormonal and neurotransmitters imbalances.
Treatments are personalized to each patient and include a combination of approaches including: nutritional approach, lifestyle modification, orthomolecular therapies, body and mind therapies, detox therapies, phytotherapy and acupuncture.
“The mission of my practice is based on the philosophy of addressing the root cause, removing the barrier of healing, enhance self-healing abilities, nourish the body and address the whole body,†says Dr. Wright.
