The Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter Announces Regional Student Production Award Recipients

PHOENIX – The Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced today the student recipients of the Regional Student Production Awards. Each of these students has made outstanding contributions in production and has promise in the television field.

These students were honored during an awards ceremony on Sept. 9 at the Tempe Center for the Arts.

The presentation of these awards is intended to be an incentive for the continued pursuit of excellence by those studying media and journalism and to focus public attention on outstanding cultural, educational, technological, entertainment, news and informational achievements by undergraduate college and/or high school students.

“These students are showing tremendous promise in our field,” said Doug Mummert, National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter president. “They are the best and brightest and will shape the future of television for the better.”

In addition to the Student Production Awards, the Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter inducted seven professionals into the Gold & Silver Circle Society in a ceremony on Sept. 9.
