The Arizona Association of REALTORS® congratulates Susan Nicolson on her appointment to the position of Arizona Department of Real Estate Commissioner and thanks Governor Katie Hobbs and her staff for their diligence in selecting such a capable leader.
“Having received her real estate license in 2002, Susan is eminently qualified for the position and will well serve Arizona, its real estate licensees, consumers, and the real estate industry as a whole,” said Eric Gibbs, Arizona REALTORS® board chair.
In addition to having held leadership positions with the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, West and Southeast REALTORS® of the Valley (WeSERV), and the Arizona Association of REALTORS®, Nicolson founded her own real estate school in 2018 to further pursue her passion for teaching and education.
She is active in her community having served as Co-President of the Phoenix West Rotary Club and has always promoted the protection of private property rights and the importance of home ownership.
“The Arizona Association of REALTORS® is grateful for Susan’s knowledge and collaborative nature and looks forward to continuing its strong working relationship with Susan as she assumes her new position,” said Gibbs.
