Scottsdale Quarter is excited to announce Beat the Heat as the final fling of its family-friendly summer events series. On Saturday, August 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the shopping center will celebrate the end of summer with 12 tons of snow, cold treats, yard games, and music, at the Beat the Heat summer social.

“We’re excited to offer the community one final bash before the summer comes to a close,” Richard Hunt, General Manager at Scottsdale Quarter. “Beat the Heat will be an all-out event that really shows how versatile Scottsdale Quarter can be. It will be a great opportunity for families to play games together and cool down in the snow.”

Guests will be also able to sample refreshing iced teas from Bubble Bee, get a balloon animal, and splash around in the center’s pop jet fountain. The first 500 attendees will also receive giveaways.

Beat the Heat is part of Scottsdale Quarter’s summer series of free, family-friendly events that demonstrates parent company Washington Prime Group’s commitment to providing communities with a place to enjoy unique programs and spend quality time together.
