Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards Announces 2022 Award Recipients

The Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced its 2022 award recipients at the 45th Annual Rocky Mountain Regional Emmy Awards ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 1.

The Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards ceremony took place at Chateau Luxe in Phoenix, honoring a variety of television production professionals throughout Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and California. Award categories included news, sports, environment, entertainment, weather, politics, education and business.

“This is a remarkable year for our nominees and recipients, and we are fortunate to celebrate each of these talented individuals at our awards gala this year,” said Doug Mummert, National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter president. “It is always a great honor to applaud the devoted and talented professionals in the television industry, and each year, we are thrilled to appreciate excellence in television and beyond.”

The Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter also recognized high school and college level students who have a passion for television production. Students received awards in a variety of categories including news reporting, music video, fiction and nonfiction, sports, talent, public service announcement and commercial.
