Phoenix, AZ (September 3, 2023) – Risas Dental and Braces invites the public to get free dental care as part of its 12th annual Labor of Love event to be held this Labor Day. Risas Dental expects to give away more than $500,000 in free dental care during the one-day event, which will push its total giving to over $10 million in free dental care since the company’s inception in 2011.

New and current patients are welcome to choose from one of the four free treatments: a basic cleaning, filling, simple extraction, or exam and X-Ray at any participating Risas Dental location from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, September 4th. Dentists will also be offering free orthodontic consultations for anyone interested in braces or clear aligners.

“Labor of Love changes the lives of thousands of people in a single day, every year. We understand that rising costs and the pandemic have made it difficult for many to get the treatment they need,” says Jeff Adams, CEO of Risas Dental and Braces. “With that in mind, we have given over $10 million in free treatments over the years to community members, continuously helping prevent larger health issues from arising later.”

The Phoenix Central location, at 4501 N 7th St, will not be open for Labor of Love this year due to renovations.

“This is so important for people today because simple treatments like extractions and fillings can really rack up a bill,” said Kaitlyn Evans, a patient from Labor of Love in 2022. “All of the employees were absolutely amazing, and they even gave us free breakfast. I mean c’mon, tell me about another business that would do that for you?”

Risas Dental treated 1,578 patients during its 2022 Labor of Love event and provided over $680,000 in free treatment. The company estimates it will give away over $500,000 in free dental care this year across all participating offices in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and Texas.
