Risas Dental and Braces, a dental care provider with a mission to change the way dentistry is offered, is excited to introduce Dr. Elizabeth Walton who will be working as part of the team at the company’s new pediatric dentistry, Risas Kids Dental. Dr. Walton brings more than 17 years of experience in the field of dentistry and will be responsible for providing care to pediatric patients at the first of the new Risas Kids Dental offices, located at 3542 West Camelback Road in Phoenix next to Risas Dental & Braces’ existing Alhambra location.

Dr. Walton’s positive energy along with her specialized experience will help kids have fun at their appointments and even excite them about their dental care.”

After graduating from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2004, Walton completed an additional year of residency in General Dentistry in Ann Arbor where she gained specialized experience and guidance in cosmetic and implant cases. It was upon moving to Chicago, however, that she discovered a gift for something she possessed and had never been aware of - the gift of working with children. Upon realizing this, Walton knew she needed to devote her life to pediatric dentistry.

“You can control and plan for just about everything in a dental office, except children. Children are unique and, as such, that provides an incredibly unique and rewarding challenge. It’s one that keeps my love of dentistry alive,” says Walton. “My commitment to the patients at Risas Kids Dental is the same one I’ve held firmly to throughout my entire career, which is to provide stress-free experiences for children in the dental office. I am very proud to offer that as part of the Risas Kids experience.”

Since opening its first office in Phoenix in 2011, and with the addition of this new Risas Kids Dental office, Risas Dental and Braces has expanded to 27 offices across Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and Texas and staffs over 800 employees. While pediatric services are currently also offered in Risas’ existing San Antonio market, the Alhambra location in Phoenix marks Risas Kids Dental’s first standalone office.

Plans are currently underway to establish Risas Kids locations in a majority of their other markets with two more offices scheduled for opening in the Phoenix and Chandler market in early 2022.
