REDW LLC, one of the Southwest’s 10 largest advisory and CPA firms and with offices in Phoenix, Albuquerque, and Oklahoma City, is announcing Kerry Prine as its Chief Operating Officer. As COO, Prine will drive performance, change management, resource management accountability, workflow efficiencies, and innovation while continuing to provide an extraordinary professional experience for REDW’s clients and team. This is the first time the firm has had a COO in its 70-year history.
“Over the past several years, REDW has grown to more than 250 employees serving several thousand clients,” says REDW Managing Principal Steve Cogan. “Kerry’s rich and diverse business experience in financial services, consulting, human capital management, and prior C-suite roles will be invaluable as we continue strategic growth while staying committed to team member development, client experience, and innovation.”
Prine, who will divide his time among REDW’s Albuquerque, Oklahoma City, and Phoenix offices, brings 30 years of experience to the role, most notably working 16 years at Fidelity Investments in several leadership positions, including as Senior Vice President and Vice President of Operations. He also served as both Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Apeiron Zoh, a global leader in optimizing health, well-being, and performance through precision genomics and epigenetic science, and as Executive Advisor for Guidepoint Global Advisors, a multinational business and management consulting firm. He has also held leadership positions with Ceridian and Namely.
“I’ve had the privilege and responsibility of leading large, complex organizations in multiple sites and countries for many years, working to build high-performing management teams and drive multifaceted operations,” says Prine. “REDW is a fantastic company that is thriving across the Southwest and beyond. Its rich history and stellar reputation for work ethic, client experience, and company culture precedes it. I look forward to working across our offices to ensure we continue to deliver on these core company values while ensuring the organization’s growth is scalable and sustainable for many years to come.”
Prine earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and graduated from the Executive Leadership Program at Babson College. He has served on various boards of directors and volunteers with MicroMentor by Mercy Corps, guiding small businesses through the full scope of obstacles and opportunities when in business for oneself.
