REDW Honored as 2023 Top Workplace by Albuquerque Journal, AZ Central
By Alison Bailin - Monday Jul 31, 2023
REDW Advisors and CPAs, one of the Southwest’s 10 largest advisory and CPA firms, also recognized among INSIDE Public Accounting’s Top 200 Accounting Firms, is pleased to announce that for the third consecutive year the firm has been awarded 2023 Top Workplace honors for both the state of Arizona and the state of New Mexico. AZCentral and The Albuquerque Journal also recognized REDW with special Cultural Excellence awards in the categories of Leadership, Compensation & Benefits, and Innovation and with an Industry award in the category of Financial Services.

Top Workplaces differs from other employer recognition programs because it is based solely on employee engagement survey results, which are compared to the Top Workplaces benchmark. There are no essays, forms, or other organization-provided content that allows for subjective analysis. With more than 17 years of data from 27 million employee surveys across 70,000 organizations, the data is compared against the industry’s best-in-class.

“Through open communication and collaboration, REDW has continued to innovate and improve our processes across the firm for 70 years, resulting in an engaged, highly driven team of more than 230 talented individuals working together to serve several thousand clients each day,” says Mike Allen, REDW’s Principal-in-Charge of the firm’s Phoenix office.

According to Top Workplaces, active disengagement costs $450 to $550 billion per year in the U.S. alone. In addition, a Gallup Report shows that organizations with highly engaged employees outperform average organizations by 147 percent in earnings per share.

“These honors are a testament to our people, who feel confident to share their candid feedback and create healthy dialogue for positive change. I’m grateful to our team members for their leadership ensuring we continue to thrive while positively impacting each other and our clients,” says Steve Cogan, REDW’s Managing Principal. “As we celebrate our 70th anniversary, REDW remains committed to embracing new ideas and providing trusted expertise to keep our clients and team moving forward.”

In addition to being nationally recognized as a Top Workplace in both Arizona and New Mexico in the last three years, REDW has been awarded a variety of workplace culture awards including honors for Formal Training, Remote Work, and the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practices. REDW also recently earned recognition from Arizona’s premier publisher, AZ Big Media, for being a positive Champion of Change in contributing to responsible economic development across the Southwest
