Red Dinner to Raise Awareness of Red Light Running Danger in AZ
By Charlotte Shaff - Tuesday Feb 11, 2020
Does red light running make you see “RED?"
The AZ nonprofit, Red Means Stop invites you to their fundraising dinner on Wednesday, March 25th in Phoenix. This event will bring the community together to discuss ways to alleviate red light running and other deadly driving behaviors. Help us make Arizona roads safer. All proceeds will go toward Red Means Stop's programs and initiatives.
Wednesday, March 25, 2020Location: Papago Golf Course, Evie’s PavilionTime: 6:00 pm – 8:30 pmredmeansstop.org/event/red-dinner/Tickets:$30/each$25/each for 2 or more
In January 1999, three families who incurred the consequences of red light runners founded The Red Means Stop Coalition. RMSC founding families, Hinds, Marquis and Philippi came together in late 1998 to begin forming the Coalition, dedicated to their children, Jennifer Hinds, Sam Marquis and Krystal Philippi. When formed, the Red Means Stop Coalition was the only known grassroots organization of its kind in the United States. There are many traffic advocates around the country who have similar programs now. Our long-term goal is to have the message about the dangers and consequences of red light running spread throughout the country until red light running is significantly reduced everywhere. #RedMeansStop
