Pioneer Title Agency Rummage Sale Raises Over $2,000 for Kingman Special Olympics
By Alison Bailin - Wednesday Oct 05, 2022
Pioneer Title Agency’s Kingman and Hualapai offices were honored to come together and host a rummage sale outside of their Kingman office to directly benefit the Kingman’s Special Olympics Athletes. All proceeds from the sale, which raised $2,120, were presented to Kingman Special Olympics at the close of the event, a donation that follows a $5,000 donation made by the team in July for a total of more than $7,000 in recent giving.

“This yard sale saw our team come together to do more than just raise funds. Together, we collected others’ and donated our own items. We also sorted, organized, and priced everything together. Our team even canvased Stockton Hill Road to bring in customers and ensure a generous donation. It was something special,” says Kathy Zach, chief title officer of Pioneer Title Agency in Mohave County.

The donation as well as the prior gift were both made in honor of Cindy Newlon, co-founder of Pioneer Title Agency and wife of Pioneer Title Agency owner Keith Newlon who passed away last year.

“Cindy was passionate about many important causes, but Special Olympics held a piece of her heart,” says Zach. “To support these amazing athletes right in our own backyard and in Cindy’s name is something we hold very dear to our hearts.”

Giving like this – and involving individual members of the Pioneer team – has been a hallmark of the family-owned and operated Pioneer Title Agency since its inception in 1985.
