Phoenix Conservatory of Music Promotes Emergency Relocating & Reopening Fund
By Lisa Padilla - Thursday Sep 17, 2020
Phoenix Conservatory of Music (PCM) announces today its Emergency Relocating & Reopening Fund, Go Fund Me page has only raised one-third the amount necessary to fund its move to a new facility.

Willing donors are asked to help fund the move by going to the PCM Go Fund Me page. PCM would like to remind donors it is a 501(c)3 organization and donations are 100 percent tax deductible.

Nearly 700 students and 30 teachers were recently displaced due to the permanent closing of Metrocenter Mall in late June. PCM learned of the closure that month after using the space for its school and music studios since 2011.

At present, PCM is functioning virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so operationally it can continue to serve its students. The school plans to return to normal in-person operations as soon as it is safe to do so.
