The statistics are sobering. At Phoenix Children’s, almost 400 children were newly diagnosed with cancer in 2020. Cancer kills more children than any other disease. The hospital’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD) had more than 31,285 appointments in 2020, a 43% increase in the past 10 years.

The kids can’t wait. Cancer doesn’t stop during a pandemic, and the need for Phoenix Children’s Hospital to fight this disease is consistent and ongoing. That’s why Phoenix Children’s is asking the public to Step Up. Stop Cancer. and help raise much needed funds during September’s National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The campaign brings together individuals and businesses in the Valley to fund critical care at the CCBD, including research, equipment, and patient care.
