Scottsdale’s own Tom Lehman is one of the best golfers in the world and is the only golfer in history to have been awarded the Player of the Year honor on all three PGA Tours: the regular PGA tour, the PGA Tour Champions and the Web.com Tour.

Today, he’s committing to another challenge: his promise to host the largest fundraiser of the year for Elevate Phoenix, a local non-profit dedicated to changing the lives of at-risk youth.

For the past four years, Lehman has hosted a gala and celebrity golf tournament, raising almost $3 million.

This year’s event is Nov. 21-22, 2021 at the Phoenix Country Club and will be unlike any event Elevate Phoenix has done before. Respectful of the fact that our country is still dealing with a pandemic, the gala will be held both in person for those who are comfortable attending, as well as virtually.

The event will share the inspiring stories of several of our youth who were gifted scholarships this year to Western New Mexico University. Tommy King is one of those youth, who just a few months ago was jobless, falling into the wrong crowd, making bad choices and in a dark space with no hope. Today he is thriving with a plan to run for Student Body President next semester. His goal after college – to take over and lead Elevate Phoenix, the non-profit who has given him so much.

“Elevate has put me into a position I never thought I would be in,” said Elevate Phoenix youth Tommy King. “I am in a university now because of Elevate Phoenix. Everyone at Elevate is like a mother and father figure to me. They are the reason I am where I am,” he added.
