On Sunday, March 24, PANDA Lemonade Stand Day 2024 will take place. A beloved annual tradition, Lemonade Stand Day is all about inspiring the next generation of philanthropists. On a single spring day, good-hearted kids and families throughout the Valley host a lemonade stand to raise funds and awareness on behalf of PANDA, a Phoenix-based
organization dedicated to finding treatments and cures to heal sick children.
This feel-good event of “Children Helping Children” has continued to be a perfect fit for the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation, and they will be supporting the event for the second year in a row. Rooted in the philosophy that goodness grows in our community, the Sprouts
Healthy Communities Foundation is sponsoring PANDA’s Lemonade Stand Day with the donation of supplies and a generous $10,000 fundraising match! Making the day even sweeter, Danzeisen Dairy is donating all of the fresh, locally-sourced lemonade. Additionally, Walt Danley Local Luxury Christie’s Internation Real Estate has joined on as our location sponsor for the day.
“PANDA’s Lemonade Stand Day is one of Sprouts favorite ways to support the nonprofit’s critical mission because it provides a chance for kids all over the valley to support their peers living with complex medical conditions, while also uniting to help us build a healthier community,” said Lyndsey Waugh, Executive Director, Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation.
Since PANDA was founded in 1999, they have had the opportunity to teach children the importance of giving back. The idea of children Helping children has been at the center of PANDA's mission from day one. From Lemonade Stand Day to the organization's annual fashion show, giving children the opportunity to feel the compassion of helping others is the gift that provides inspiration for a lifetime.

ABOUT SPROUTS HEALTHY COMMUNITIES FOUNDATION
Founded in 2015, the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation aims to inspire, educate, and empower individuals, especially children, to live healthier lives. With a focus on nutrition education and fresh food access, our nonprofit partners teach children both how to grow and
prepare fresh foods, as well as why such foods are important to their bodies. Knowing that kids who learn these lessons from a young age are more likely to grow up eating healthier food as adults, we reach children at every stage of development, providing hands-on learning and tasting of fresh fruits and vegetables as they grow.
