Local breakfast restaurant Over Easy proudly announces a milestone donation of $25,000 as part of its year-long fundraising efforts to raise money for Phoenix Children’s. On Wednesday, April 10, during the 12th annual ABC 15 Telethon benefitting the foundation, Over Easy owners volunteered by answering phones and accepting donations. While there, the owners presented Phoenix Children’s with its first substantial donation of the year.

“We were thrilled to present our first donation of 2024 to Phoenix Children’s,” says Brian Terpay, COO of Over Easy. “As a family-friendly restaurant and an Arizona native myself, we are deeply invested in our community’s well-being. We are grateful to be able to contribute to Phoenix Children’s mission to advance hope, healing and the best health care for children and their families.”

Since January 2024, one dollar from every kid’s menu purchase at any Over Easy location has been donated to Phoenix Children’s through the ‘Kids Helping Kids’ initiative. The year-long fundraising partnership also includes Over Easy’s fourth annual ‘Dollars for a Dozen’ fundraiser happening through the end of April, and a number of other events and programs. The first $25,000 donation represents a significant milestone in Over Easy's ongoing fundraising efforts, which promises to raise a total of $100,000 for Phoenix Children's Hospital by the end of the year.

All funds raised throughout 2024 will go directly to Phoenix Children’s Hope Fund, which provides support to the area of greatest need, enabling Phoenix Children’s to provide comprehensive care across all ages, conduct innovative research, advance education for the next generation of clinical leaders and advocate for the health and well-being of children and families.
