Over Easy Announces Fourth Annual Dollars for a Dozen Fundraiser
By Erica Shipione - Thursday Mar 14, 2024
Local breakfast restaurant Over Easy is teaming up with Shamrock Farms and Hickman’s Family Farms in April to raise funds (and eggs!) for Phoenix’s Children’s and United Food Bank for the fourth annual ‘Dollars for a Dozen’ fundraiser.

Throughout the month of April, when dining at any of the 13 Over Easy locations throughout Arizona, guests will have the opportunity to donate $1 or more to Phoenix Children’s. Over Easy will then match every donation dollar for dollar. In addition, every dollar raised will contribute to a dozen eggs delivered to the United Food Bank by Shamrock Farms and Hickman’s Family Farms.

“We are thrilled to be teaming up with both Shamrock Farms and Hickman’s Family Farms for our fourth annual fundraiser,” says Ryan Field, co-owner of Over Easy. “This year, we are grateful to have the opportunity to benefit two Valley organizations making a difference in the lives of families in Arizona.”

Since 2020, the annual fundraiser has raised $44,786 and provided 268,716 eggs through the Dollars for a Dozen initiative. The Over Easy team is excited for another year of providing eggs for the United Food Bank who has been dedicated to providing hunger relief to people in the East Valley and eastern Arizona and raised funds for Phoenix Children’s, whose mission is to advance hope, healing and the best health care for children and their families, as part of their ongoing partnership with the foundation.

“We are truly grateful to be a part of the Dollars for a Dozen campaign as a continuation of our partnership with Over Easy,” says Steve Schnall, Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Phoenix Children’s Foundation. “This impactful annual program gives guests the opportunity, this year, to give back to Phoenix Children’s all while Over Easy will be doubling their impact for our patient families. We could not do what we do without the support of our community and incredible partners like Over Easy.”

From breakfast and brunch, waffle dogs to stacks of pancakes, Over Easy delivers sunshine, energy and delicious food guests can enjoy while contributing to a good cause. For more information or to find an Over Easy location near you, visit http://www.eatatovereasy.com.
