Octane Raceway Debuts Axe Throwing, New High-Powered Go-Karts
By Christina Caldwell - Wednesday Mar 09, 2022
Crank fun into high gear this spring at Octane Raceway! The country’s only indoor-outdoor go-kart track and entertainment venue has debuted a full fleet of new, high-powered karts and a six-lane axe throwing experience unlike any other in the Valley.

Got an axe to grind? Take it out on interactive projected zombie heads at Octane Raceway’s six new axe throwing lanes. Not your typical spray painted cork board axe throwing experience, guests can choose from digital projected images of zombie heads, Tic-Tac-Toe, Connect Four or a moving bullseye to unleash their inner lumberjack.

Take the adrenaline to the next level with Octane Raceway’s new fleet of 32 electric Sodi RSX2 racing karts from Europe. Known as the most advanced indoor go-kart in the world, the Sodi RSX2 features the latest in technological and electronic advances in go-kart racing, including:

A synchronous motor with integrated power control
Zero emissions
10,000 RPM for maximum torque and a top speed of 45 MPH
A sleek modern design with F1 steering
Adjustable pedals for varying distances and heights

Octane Raceway prides itself on keeping up with the latest and greatest go-kart racing technology, which won the locally owned and operated track the Phoenix New Times 2021 Best of Phoenix Award for “Best Go-Karts.”

“Go-kart enthusiasts and casual racers will be amazed by our new fleet of Sodi RSX2 karts,” said Scott Sanders, CEO of Octane Entertainment, the parent company of Octane Raceway and Mavrix. “These are truly top-of-the-line machines that combine high velocity speed with unbelievable handling, with absolutely zero emissions.”

Octane Raceway and next-door sister concept Mavrix are your one-stop destinations for family entertainment. In addition to go-kart racing and axe throwing, Octane Raceway also features Velocity VR, a full arcade and The Brickyard Grill, serving up a tasty variety of apps and entrees. Join Octane Raceway for happy hour every Monday through Friday from 3-6 p.m., with $2 off select appetizers and well drinks, and half-off drafts.
