Family fun entertainment concepts Mavrix and Octane Raceway are now hiring for 60+ front and back-of-house positions at the locally owned venues, located side-by-side in the Scottsdale Pavilions at Talking Stick Shopping Center.
Open positions include line and prep cooks, servers, bartenders, admissions, track marshals and more. For a limited time, line and prep cooks who join the growing team will get a $500 bonus after 90 days of employment. Interested applicants can view positions and apply online at mavrix.com/careers and octaneraceway.com/careers.
As the public continues to feel more comfortable leaving home, Mavrix and Octane Raceway have seen sales increase by 78%. Open positions will meet the public demand for entertainment and offer outstanding perks, including complimentary bowling, arcade games and laser tag and 50% off food and go-kart racing. There is also a $300 referral program for existing employees who recruit cook applicants that are eventually hired onto the team.
“On top of being an excellent way to grow a career in the service industry, working at Mavrix and Octane Raceway is just downright fun,†said Scott Sanders, Arizona native CEO of locally owned Octane Entertainment. “We’re excited to welcome out-of-work service industry professionals back to the work they do best in a fast-paced environment.â€
While occupancy limits have been lifted by the Governor’s Office, Mavrix and Octane Raceway remain just as committed to creating a safe environment for employees and guests.
Mavrix opened just one week before the COVID hit in March 2020. Both Mavrix and Octane Raceway adapted to meet CDC guidelines, putting an emphasis on promoting clean, safe fun throughout the pandemic. Safety measures include Plexiglas barriers between bowling lanes and dining tables, a fully masked staff and diligently sanitizing all surfaces.
