Notable Actress and Actors to Attend Fastest Growing International Festival

The Chandler International Film Festival (CIFF) is excited to announce that actress Sean Young and actors Pat Finn and Bubba Ganter will appear at the sixth annual film festival from Jan. 18 through 23 at LOOK Dine-In Cinema (1 W Chandler Blvd, Chandler, AZ 85225). The celebrities will walk the red carpet prior to the premiere on opening night and will participate in a Q&A with fans and festival attendees. In addition, Finn will be hosting an improv workshop and starring in a documentary about the Toyota commercials directed by Jordan Brady that will be shown during the weekend.
“We are thrilled to announce our celebrities for next month’s festival,†said Mitesh Patel, CIFF President and Festival Director. “Sean, Pat and Bubba have all had long and very successful careers in the film industry and we couldn’t be more excited to have this talented trio represent the Chandler International Film Festival.â€
Young is an Emmy-nominated producer, actress, screenwriter, public relations executive and journalist who has played major roles in popular movies such as “Blade Runner,†“Wall Street,†“No Way Out,†“Fatal Instinct†and “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.â€
Finn is most recently known for his popular Toyota commercials, but also has a long TV and film career which includes “Murphy Brown,†“Friends,†“3rd Rock from the Sun,†“ED,†“The Middle†and “Dude, Where’s My Carâ€. His most recent film, “Funny Thing about Love†was filmed in Arizona.
Ganter is a native of Flagstaff, Arizona who started his acting career in 1995 and has appeared in many films, most notably were his guest appearances on Nickelodeon's “iCarly,†“Zoey,†“Drake & Josh,†and as BUNNY on “Sam & Cat.â€
The CIFF has also released the first round of anticipated films selected for the festival. Each of these movies will be making its Arizona premiere, including Marcella Cytrynovicz’ “American Cherry†with Leonor Varela and Hart Denton, Phillippe McKie’s “Dreams on Fire†with Ikuyo Kuroda and Akaji Maro, Arizona based Rick Walker’s “Second Chances†with Ginger Gilmartin and Allyson Cristofaro, Rich Ragsdale’s “The Long Night†with Scout Taylor-Compton and Nolan Gerard Funk, Stephanie McBain’s Arizona filmed “Hashtag Blessed the Movie†with Isabella Blake-Thomas and Char Leonard, Martin Copping’s “The Dunes†with Martin Copping and Tim Phillipps and Ramiro Villagomez’ “Lucid†with Ian Segears and David W. Rice.
Along with a diverse mix of international films, the CIFF will also include a variety of programming and events including a red carpet, opening ceremony, award ceremony, filmmaker workshops, Q&As, panel discussions, nightly after parties, and multiple celebrity guest appearances.
