A new turf cleaning business launched earlier this month in the East Valley. Based out of Gilbert, Kiwi Turf Cleaners aims to provide clean turf at a clean price.

“More homeowners and commercial properties in Arizona are installing turf for water conservation and attractive landscaping,” says Ryan Moore, co-owner of Kiwi Turf Cleaners. “Just like carpet, your turf is going to need to be cleaned and we are excited to offer that service at an affordable price. Turf is not a cheap investment, so we want to help maintain the value of it.”

Kiwi Turf Cleaners provides artificial turf cleaning and maintenance services for residential and commercial properties across Arizona. Their process includes sanitizing, eliminating pet odor and debris, turf reblooming, weed removal, power washing, infill installation, magnetic sweeping and more. Kiwi Turf Cleaners uses 100 percent organic biodegradable cleaning products as well as electric tools. Their goal is to reduce chemical and noise pollution while providing customers with clean turf that’s safe for everyone to enjoy immediately after cleaning.

Kiwi Turf Cleaners was founded by Moore and his brother-in-law James Patterson. The duo both had experiences with needing their turf cleaned from debris and their pets and discovered the business opportunity last year.

“We are excited to see where this venture takes us,” says Patterson, who also works in real estate. “We love having turf, especially clean turf. It really does make a difference if you have pets. Eventually we will add other outdoor detailing services to become more full-service.”
