New Life Center, one of the largest domestic violence shelters in the country located right here in the Valley, is asking the community for donations needed to help survivors. The center not only provides emergency shelter from victims escaping domestic abuse, but also gives them any and all necessities completely free of charge. This includes clothes, shoes, toiletries, luggage, bedding and more.
Please see below for a list of donation items that are currently in low supply. To donate, community members can email Volunteer Manager Susan Allen at sallen@newlifectr.org and coordinate a drop-off/pick-up. All items MUST be new.
New Life Center serves more than 1,000 children and adults annually through an emergency shelter and outreach support program, where more than 70 percent of the shelter population is children. In 2017, New Life Center served more children and provided more bed nights than any other single facility providing emergency shelter to domestic violence survivors in Arizona.
