The Museum of Illusions is proud to announce two new initiatives aimed at supporting families affected by cancer within the Arizona community. Through a partnership with The Singletons, the museum will provide free admission to the families facing the challenges of cancer treatment and recovery. Additionally, the Museum of Illusions is launching a round-up donation campaign for online ticket purchases, which will allow patrons to contribute towards The Singleton’s advocacy efforts through April 2024.

“Allowing these families to come into our museum for a little fun and education during some difficult times is an honor,” said Teresa Anderson, local sales and marketing coordinator. “We hope the community will participate in the round-up campaign where the funds will directly help those who are battling cancer.”

Through the partnership, the goal is to remove barriers and ensure that families battling cancer can access the museums mind bending installations, fostering joy and inspiration during challenging times. Patrons will also have the option to round-up their total to the nearest dollar with the additional funds directly supporting The Singletons and the families they support who are experiencing cancer.

“The Singletons is deeply appreciative of this generous partnership,” said Executive Director Jody Boyd. “The funds raised through the Museum of Illusions round-up campaign will support meaningful programing and vital necessities for our families.”

The Singletons is in its 17th year of supporting single-parent families battling cancer in the Valley. The nonprofit provides monthly meal kits, essential household items, utility stipends and a variety of programing to inspire friendship and comradery among Singletons parents and families.
