MONOPOLY: Tucson Edition to Debut March 2024
By Christina Caldwell - Tuesday Jun 13, 2023
Mr. Monopoly is making his way to Tucson, and he wants you to be part of his next venture!

Top Trumps USA, the American division of Winning Moves International, creators of classic games and puzzles, will debut MONOPOLY: Tucson Edition in March 2024, under license from Hasbro, a global leader in play. The company is seeking well-established Tucson businesses and nonprofits to be part of this historic way to honor “The Old Pueblo.”

MONOPOLY: Tucson Edition will replace the perennial board game’s famous Atlantic City squares, from Boardwalk to Park Place, with Tucson businesses, nonprofits and landmarks. The Tucson board will also include a customized Community Chest, Chance playing cards and money, ensuring each detail of the game pays homage to our desert home.

“Tucson encompasses the best of what the desert has to offer, from scenic hikes to bustling nightlife to Old West history,” said Jennifer Tripsea, representative from Top Trumps USA. “Our goal is to capture everything that makes Tucson a beloved destination and unique place to live in one game.”

To ensure the board captures all of the most essential elements of Tucson, Top Trumps is seeking recommendations from the public about which locations should be included as squares on the board.

Additionally, businesses and nonprofits have the momentous opportunity to be part of the board for life. Public submissions and business inquiries can be sent to tucson@toptrumps.com for consideration.

MONOPOLY: Tucson Edition will debut March 2024 and will be available in stores and online at retail partners, including CVS, Amazon and select local Tucson retailers.
