Momma's Organic Market/Get Local Arizona Events Begin 15th Season

Food truck and farmers market events kickoff Oct. 1 at multiple West Valley locations. They will be serving West Valley residents at three locations: Arrowhead Towne Center, Cabela’s in Glendale and Sun City Festival Farmer’s Market. In addition, they plan to continue Food Truck Friday West in Glendale.

The Saturday market is at Arrowhead Towne Center, located at 7780 W. Arrowhead Towne Center, in the upper level Dillard’s parking lot. The market will run every Saturday October-April from 9 a.m. to 1p.m. and features over 125 vendors each week.

The Sunday market is at Cabela’s/Bass Pro Shop near Westgate in Glendale. It will take place at Cabela’s, located at 9380 W. Glendale Ave., every Sunday from October through April from 9a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Sun City Festival Farmer’s Market at Sage Center, located at 26501 W. Desert Vista Blvd. in Buckeye will open in October and occur every other Thursday morning from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. through April.

Get Local Arizona Events also hosts the weekly Food Truck Friday West. Currently at Desert Financial Credit Union, located at 17445 N. 79th Ave. from 6 to 9 p.m. through the end of September. Beginning, Oct. 1, they will move back to their old location at Sam’s Club/Walmart off 83rd and Union Hills in Glendale. The hours in October will change to 5 to 9 p.m. and features 15+ food trucks each week, a FREE bounce house for children, an awesome local DJ playing music, a barrel train ride, face painting and plenty of seating.

All three markets and the weekly/monthly food truck events are free for the entire family to attend. No entry fees! The events include a rotating list of local vendors and food trucks that accept both cash and cards. (Leashed, friendly dogs are also allowed.)

Market vendors and artisans include multiple fresh produce booths, plants and garden items, microgreens, grass fed meats, farm fresh eggs, Seafood, fresh baked artisan breads, salsa, dips, hummus, natural pet products, oils and vinegars, homemade tortillas, local raw honey, spices, rubs, tamales, pasta, pies, baked goods, elderberry syrup, loose leaf teas, granola, pickled products, jams and jellies, jerky, fresh flowers, wood signs, hand sewn items and much, much more.
