Family-friendly modern eatery Mici Italian announces the grand re-opening of its Queen Creek location located at 24750 S. Ellsworth Road later this month. The celebration of the newly polished 1,500 square foot restaurant, which first opened its doors in January 2023, is set for Tuesday, February 27, with 20 percent of the day’s total sales to be donated to The Kwamie Lassiter Foundation.

With Italian roots, Mici Italian takes pride in not being just a restaurant, but a celebration of rich cultural traditions and family values. The name "Mici" is an abbreviation of the founders’ family surname, Miceli, emphasizing the authenticity and personal touch that goes into every dish.

"We are a true family business, in our 20th year,” says Marissa Miceli, Co-Owner and Director of Hospitality at Mici Italian. “Over the holidays, we joke that our corporate team and dinner table is filled with the same people.”

Mici Italian offers a menu of authentic Italian family recipes, crafted with love and using only the finest, high-quality ingredients. The made-to-order pastas, artisan pizzas, salads, and more are created with all-natural, unprocessed, and clean ingredients. In a nod to the commitment to quality, Mici ensures that their dishes are free from hormones, nitrates, and preservatives, providing a wholesome and delicious dining experience.

“Our family recipes have been passed down for generations,” says Miceli. “We use clean, scratch ingredients to make our treasured family recipes. Recipes like the Pietro Pizza, with our made fresh pizza dough, which is proofed for at least 48 hours before it's perfect, then topped with our family recipe sausage, made with five simple ingredients in small batches.”

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be conducted by the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce at noon followed by complimentary mini cannoli until 1 p.m. Other grand re-opening festivities will include swag giveaways for the first 15 guests at the restaurant and a raffle for the chance to win free pizza for a year. Restrictions may apply. Guests can also expect to see special appearances by beloved MLB and NFL players throughout the day.

Mici Italian is open daily for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for dine-in, take out, delivery and catering. For loyalty members, kids 12 and under eat for just $2 all day, every day at the quick-casual restaurant with an adult purchase. Promotion available for dine-in orders only. Mici Italian also offers a lunch special Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for only $9.99 which includes any 10 inch pizza and a fountain drink.
