The entertainment industry was hit hard by the pandemic as shutdown orders shuttered venues across the country. Mavrix, which opened just 10 days before the COVID-19 shutdown in March 2020, has enjoyed a tremendous comeback in 2021 and 2022. March 2022 was the bowling, arcade game and laser tag concept’s biggest March yet, with strong indications that momentum will continue to build throughout the summer as families seek indoor entertainment away from the summer heat.
Similarly, Octane Raceway has also seen steady increase in foot traffic. The country’s only indoor-outdoor go-kart track recently revealed a new fleet of 32 electric Sodi RSX2 racing karts from Europe and six new axe-throwing lanes.
To meet demand, both venues recently debuted online reservation systems to schedule your go-kart race, axe-throwing session or bowling game in advance.
