Lerner & Rowe Gives Back Opens 2024 Grant Cycle for Eligible Arizona 501(c)3s
By Molly Hammond - Thursday Feb 01, 2024
PHOENIX (February 1, 2024) – Lerner & Rowe Gives Back, the nonprofit arm of Lerner & Rowe Injury Attorneys, opened its 2024 grant cycle this week. The grants are exclusively available to qualifying Arizona 501(c)3s and are awarded with funding amounts from $5,000 to $50,000. Organizations seeking grant funding must submit applications before March 5 online at http://www.lernerandrowegivesback.org/grant.

In 2023, Lerner & Rowe Gives Back reached a record amount in charitable giving, with more than $1.7 million donated to local organizations. In 2024, the team increased its goal and aims to achieve a total $2 million in charitable giving to Arizona nonprofits.

“When I started this organization in 2010, our mission was to serve the Arizona community,” said Kevin Rowe, founder of Lerner & Rowe Injury Attorneys and Lerner & Rowe Gives Back. “We love having the ability to carry out that mission and help the organizations that are near and dear to not only our hearts but the local community.”

Lerner & Rowe Gives Back celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2023 with a new grant program, redesigned website, and new Director of Charitable Giving, Jordan Moreno. The organization’s goal was to formalize the giving strategy and increase the reach of the nonprofit arm’s impact. The team awarded 18 local nonprofit organizations in the public safety, health and human services, and youth and welfare sectors in May 2023. The largest contribution benefited Valleywise Health, which used its $50,000 grant to build a new burn unit.

“We were honored to accept a $50,000 multi-year gift from Lerner & Rowe to support pediatric burn care at The Diane & Bruce Halle Arizona Burn Center - Valleywise Health,” said Nicole Rivet, President and CEO of Valleywise Health Foundation. “Lerner & Rowe's generous philanthropic support is not only an investment in Valleywise Health, but also a profound contribution to the wellbeing of our community.”

In 2010, Kevin Rowe created the Rowe Family Foundation to help teach his oldest daughter the values of humility and helping others in need. With the desire to do more in Arizona, Rowe formed Lerner & Rowe Gives Back in 2012 and has been giving back to the communities in which they practice ever since, including Phoenix, Tucson, Bullhead City, Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Chicago, Merrillville, IN and Nashville.
