KLMR Homes, a Scottsdale-based homebuilder, recently opened its first project – Bellos at The Summit in Fountain Hills. Now that the first two homes are available for tours, the Town of Fountain Hills and KLMR Homes walked the homesites and discussed the future of the community on Jan. 10.

Bellos at The Summit features 27 homesites with 360-degree views of the Valley. The sites offer three floor plans that accommodate a range of buyers. One of the floor plans is designed for single-living and the remaining two floorplans feature basements.

Fountain Hills Mayor, Ginny Dickey; development services director, John Wesley; and community relations director, Bo Larsen discussed their thoughts as this new housing development surfaces.

“We appreciate KLMR Homes investing in Fountain Hills,” said Mayor Dickey. “We have many community components – like a small school district – that are sure to appeal to future homebuyers.”

Fountain Hills’ sense of community is appealing to buyers and ultimately became a reason KLMR Homes chose to acquire the lots in 2020. The park, trail systems, school district and family-friendly events all create a tight-knit, small-town atmosphere.

“One of our hopes for the community is to reach families and young professionals,” said Wesley. “Homes that are found in Bellos will help attract young families that want to raise their children in a small town like Fountain Hills.”

Bellos at The Summit parallels Fountain Hills’ mission to continue as a quality-forward community with one-of-a-kind views. The homes are designed to maintain the character of the natural landscape with an easement along the home’s backyard that serves to protect the views.

“Fountain Hills is the 17th dark sky community in the world,” said Larsen. “Whoever enters this community will enjoy the dark night sky gleaming with stars and beautiful sunsets.”

KLMR Homes is continuing to grow its footprint. Two of the eight homesites in phase one are finished and the remaining lots are projected to reach completion this Summer. Phase two will begin construction this year and reach completion in 2025.
