(Phoenix, AZ - February 14, 2024) – Joe Ducey has been appointed as the Associate Vice President of Public Engagement and Investigative Outreach of Better Business Bureau Pacific Southwest (BBB). With a distinguished career as an investigative journalist spanning over two decades, Joe is recognized for his commitment to empowering consumers with the knowledge needed to make informed purchasing decisions.
Over the past decade Joe headed the 25-person Let Joe Know/BBB volunteer team while at ABC 15 in Phoenix where he helped thousands of Arizonans save, or recoup, millions of dollars. For his work, Joe has been honored with a Peabody Award, National Investigative Emmy, regional Edward R. Murrow, and multiple Emmys.
Matthew Fehling, President & CEO of BBB Pacific Southwest, expressed enthusiasm about Joe joining the team, stating, "We are thrilled to welcome Joe to the BBB family. Joe's longstanding relationship with BBB speaks volumes about his dedication to fostering integrity and will undoubtedly bolster our efforts to promote ethical standards in our community.”
In his new role, Joe will spotlight businesses for their ethical conduct, offer guidance on essential factors consumers should consider when selecting trustworthy companies, and provide insightful purchasing advice. He will also amplify discussions on business and consumer trends through a BBB podcast, interviews, and local engagement with integrity-driven enterprises.
In an era where customers increasingly seek confidence in their business transactions, the addition of Joe to its team demonstrates BBB's agility in adapting to the evolving landscape of marketplace needs.
