JINYA RAMEN BAR OPENS SECOND LOCATION IN ARIZONA
By Michelle Talsma Everson - Monday May 15, 2023
Look out Phoenix. Following the overwhelming success from its debut in Chandler in April of 2021, JINYA Ramen Bar is ready to serve up more authentic ramen culture to the Valley on Tuesday, May 16th with its newest location in Central Phoenix. The Japanese franchise, JINYA is known for its slow-cooked approach to ramen, made from broth simmered for 20 hours in-house. JINYA will open its doors at 5120 N Central Ave in uptown Phoenix, located two blocks north of Camelback Rd. on Central Ave. in the historical Central Avenue Neighborhood in Phoenix.

From its customizable menu to sleek interiors, JINYA Ramen Bar presents to guests a contemporary Japanese dining experience, ideal for lively social gatherings for all ages. At JINYA, guests experience ramen like it’s meant to be – with thick, rich broth in perfect balance with flavorful noodles with a wide array of authentic toppings, from tender pork chashu to a perfectly cooked and seasoned poached egg to shrimp wanton. Then, elevate the experience further by pairing it with tapas or a craft beer.

This will be the second of five JINYA Ramen Bar locations in Arizona for franchisee owner, Daradee Olson and the 56th location nationwide. The 2,678 square-foot space in Phoenix will follow a similar dining room format to the location in Chandler, with an addition to spacious patio including a large fire pit surrounded by 16 seats.

“Since opening our first location in Chandler, Arizona 2 years ago, we’ve felt so welcomed by the community,” says Olson. "We’re excited to be in such a lively part of the city with our newest location so close to all of the economic development in the Central Phoenix area. The JINYA experience is like no other, and we just can’t wait to continue sharing it with local residents and all the visitors that flock to Phoenix from all over the world.”

To celebrate the opening, the first 50 guests in line by 11 a.m. for lunch and the first 50 in line at 5 p.m. for dinner will receive a free ramen bowl. Guests can choose from more than a dozen acclaimed ramen dishes featuring a perfect balance of bold noodles with thick, rich broth, slowly simmered for 20 hours to ensure a deep flavor.

DJ Jon will be mixing it up on the red carpet as guests arrive Tuesday morning and as they enter, they will be greeted by a specialty designed JINYA themed ice luge. The restaurant will donate a portion of the proceeds from opening day to the Miracle League of Arizona, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe, successful and enjoyable baseball experience for children, teens and adults with disabilities or special health care needs.

Following the opening, JINYA Ramen Bar will be open daily, Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more information JINYA, including the full menu, visit jinyaramenbar.com.
