(GLENDALE, Ariz. – May 18, 2023) – Delta Dental of Arizona (Delta Dental) is pleased to announce that Jeff Wilkinson has joined the dental insurer as its director of account management. In this role, Wilkinson will strategically engage internal resources to bring the best possible experience to Delta Dental clients. He will lead a talented team of account executives serving the company’s various segments of group dental and vision clients with 50 to 50,000+ employees.

Wilkinson brings a wealth of experience to the position, including more than 10 years in various leadership roles with Total Dental Administrators (TDA). In his most recent position as vice president of operations, Wilkinson was a key member of TDA’s executive team. During that time, he directed all departmental activities and coordinated policies, goals and objectives for multiple departments; oversaw the recruitment, hiring, onboarding and training of new staff members; monitored overall performances with tracking and established corrective measures as needed; and spearhead and directed all Arizona operations, including administration, claims payments, individual plan sales and service, customer service and enrollment. In addition to his work with TDA, Wilkinson served as director of sales for Well Steps in Gilbert, Ariz. and as a branch manager at Kenney Manufacturing.

Wilkinson earned his bachelor’s degree in business finance and management and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. He holds Arizona Accidental/Health and Life Producers Licenses and is a member as well as a past-president of both the Greater Phoenix Association of Health Underwriters and Arizona Association of Health Underwriters. Wilkinson is also a member of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals.
