JA Hosts 17th Annual JA Stock Market Challenge

A night of friendly and fun competition as teams work to dominate the trading floor.

Open to professionals and companies interested in investing in Arizona’s students on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 5-9 p.m. at Doubletree Resort by Hilton – Paradise Valley, located at 5401 N. Scottsdale Rd. in Scottsdale.

Each year, executives from Arizona’s leading companies have joined the JA Stock Market Challenge for a unique evening of food, friendly competition, and networking in order to support educational programs and resources for students across the state.

Proceeds from the JA Stock Market Challenge make it possible for hundreds of high school students to participate in the JA Stock Market Challenge taking place virtually statewide this fall. Every team will be issued $500,000 to buy mock stock in 30 fictitious companies over several 60-90 second ‘trading days.’ Work together to get better positions on the floor, tips about companies’ performance and opportunities to see your team standings in order to build the largest portfolio by the end of the game.

For more information or to register, visit: https://www.jaaz.org/event/ja-stock-market-challenge-2. A team of 4 is $2,000 and a pair of tickets $400.

About Junior Achievement of Arizona

The organization’s hands-on, age-appropriate programs are delivered by more than 8,000 corporate and community volunteers.
