Private Sound Healing Experience
Unwind with Serene Sound Healing & Meditation, a private wellness experience that will soothe body and mind. Local wellness expert Cortney Halstead will guide you through a 45-minute sound healing session in your guestroom or suite. Experience true tranquility as the tones and vibrations of the crystal bowls relax your thoughts, enhance lymph flow, and increase blood circulation. The session also incorporates mindful meditation and breath control to enter you into a state of deep relaxation. This experience costs $200 for groups of up to four, and an extra $20 for each additional person over four. A gong can also be added for $25. Overnight resort guests receive a $50 discount on the base fee. Reservations can be made by emailing [email protected].

Spring Fever
Visit The Gallery through June 15 to explore the newest exhibition, Spring Fever. This exhibition features four artists who incorporate digital and video elements into their varied art practices. Allison Moyers’ work is rooted in nostalgia. With a cinematic approach and handmade props, she creates joyful enactments recalling everyday moments of connection. Patricia Sannit immerses her body in her surroundings to document her performative interactions. Kara Brooks’ computer-generated drawings are printed and altered by hand using glitter and decorative design to expand narratives of strength and femininity. Krista-Leigh Davis focuses on research-based narratives, employing humor and fantasy to address the climate crisis and our relationship with nature. This exhibition will include a series of shorts representing each artist and will stream throughout the resort. The Gallery is curated by Cece Cole and features new, museum-quality exhibitions every two months.

Poolside Cabanas & Daybeds
Treat yourself to some summertime relaxation under the palms at The Citizens Club and enjoy two pools paired with dramatic mountain views. Take advantage of pool access when you rent a daybed or cabana for the day. Daybeds start at $155 and include access for four people, while shaded cabanas start at $299 and include access for up to eight people. All poolside rentals come with bottled water and your choice of a bucket of beer, bucket of hard seltzers, or bottle of house rosé. Food is served from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with drink service from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Golf – The Short Course
Round out the resort experience with a tee time. Mountain Shadows boasts one of the only 18-hole, par-3 courses in Arizona. The Short Course has an emphasis on fun for the casual golfer as well as the serious player, featuring dramatic views of iconic Camelback Mountain. The course is playable in under three hours, leaving time for beers and bites at Rusty’s (or poolside lounging).

Mountain Shadows is located at 5445 E. Lincoln Drive in Paradise Valley. Visit to learn more.
