Impact Diversity Solutions Corporation Donates 30,000 Surgical Masks to Valleywise Health skilled-nursing and home health partner organizations
By Brian O'Malley - Friday Nov 13, 2020
At a recent presentation hosted by Valleywise Health Foundation, Impact Diversity Solutions Corporation (IDSC) Chairman and CEO, Charles D. Brown donated 30,000 surgical masks to Valleywise Health partners, Home Assist Health and Bandera Healthcare.

"We are grateful for the opportunity to work with Valleywise Health Foundation to support these organizations on the front lines of COVID-19. As a minority owned organization, it is our philosophy to give back to our community in any way we can. Our motto is to 'Do well by doing good,’” Brown said. “Over the last six months, we know many skilled nursing and home health organizations have not been able to fulfill all their protective equipment needs, including the urgent need for masks. Now more than ever we have to step up to help our community.”

Valleywise Health Foundation was introduced to IDSC through Capital One Bank’s Market Executive Sel Nutor. As a Valleywise Health Foundation board member, Nutor has emphasized the importance of supporting the diverse community that Valleywise Health serves.

“I’m happy to have connected with Charles and IDSC, and what they were able to make happen, especially as a family-owned business during these uncertain times, is incredibly impactful and appreciated,” Nutor said.
The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need to lift up diverse and underserved residents of Maricopa County, many of whom are treated at Valleywise Health and its care partners.

“We are incredibly grateful for this generous donation of 20,000 face masks. This gift will help protect our more than 700 caregivers and 800 Arizona residents living with the challenges of aging, physical, developmental disabilities and COVID-19 recovered patients,” said Home Assist Health CEO Sara Wilson. “Thanks to Impact Diversity Solutions and Valleywise Health Foundation we will be able to ensure proper protection to our most vulnerable so that they may remain at home aging safely in place.”

“As the COVID-19 pandemic has caused international shortages in PPE, Bandera Healthcare is incredibly grateful for the generous PPE donation from Impact Diversity Solutions. This donation will provide PPE support to the staff across our 32 Skilled Nursing Facilities in Arizona,” said Lisa Leveque, Vice President of Strategic Alignment & Care Transformation, Bandera Healthcare.
