Individual slices and the “Gift A Meal” program launch as LTO in October

PHOENIX – Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is celebrating National Pizza Month in October by launching its new Slices ASAP Lunch Special. This limited-time lunch offer includes a giant Traditional or White with Garlic pizza slice, a personal-size house or Caesar salad, and a fountain soda or house iced tea for $9.99. In addition to the Slices ASAP promotion, Grimaldi’s is proud to expand its already existing partnership with No Kid Hungry.

“We wanted to make our pizza accessible to those with limited time for lunch,” said Grimaldi’s Pizzeria Culinary Manager, Hector Godinez. “It was tricky to master how to achieve the same quality for our coal-brick oven pizza while making it suitable for a busy lunch hour, but we think we’ve nailed it and are excited to roll out the new program.”

The Slices ASAP lunch special is available weekdays, dine-in only, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Diners can add up to three toppings to each giant slice at 75 cents each.

The pizzeria is also launching its new “Gift A Meal” program now through Dec. 31. For each guest who takes a photo of their meal at Grimaldi’s and uploads it via the QR code displayed on tables, Grimaldi’s will provide a meal to a child in need through No Kid Hungry.

“October is National Pizza Month, and we couldn’t think of a better time to release a highly requested addition to our menu while giving back to communities,” said Grimaldi’s Pizzeria COO, Michael Flaum. “Partnering with No Kid Hungry has been so rewarding over the years and we are proud to continue our efforts to help end childhood hunger.”

Grimaldi’s and No Kid Hungry have been partnered for the past 12 years and the restaurant chain raised over $60,000 in September through their annual fundraiser. The pizzeria has raised over $1.1 million since 2012.

The Slices and Gift A Meal programs are available at all seven Arizona Grimaldi’s locations, located in Scottsdale, Chandler, Queen Creek, Peoria and Flagstaff.
