“We are grateful for all the community involvement and everyone who believes in what we are doing and are going to do to help. We have a team of amazing people who help fight and volunteer in the community. Hundreds help at the diner and deliver meals to cancer survivors. To have the community backing everything Jennifer believed in and inspiring all of us to believe in something bigger is the most rewarding,” says Joanna McCarthy, general manager of the Joy Bus Diner.
“We are so honored to win this award and be recognized for driving economic impact in the community. It’s something we seek to do and is obviously resonating with the right people. We are happy to do this on behalf of my team and our members. We appreciate the Chamber for putting on such a nice event!” says Jeff Meshey, president and CEO of Desert Financial Credit Union.
