Slick Barrier, a Gilbert-based business set to disrupt the pest control industry, is happy to announce that it will be featured on ABC’s Shark Tank on Jan. 27.

This Friday at 7 p.m. Arizona, founders Tony Gonzales and Aaron Gonzales will discuss the possibilities of a forward-thinking, direct-to-consumer product, and the inspiring story behind the invention.

When Tony’s son was almost fatally stung by a scorpion, he reached out to his longtime friend, Aaron about a pest control product. Both individuals had been suffering scorpion infestations, searching for a permanent solution. They ended up developing a product with a one-time application that dries to a glass-like surface around the home, impossible for scorpions and other pests to penetrate.
