Forward Tilt is going “Bananas!” The Scottsdale-based commercial furniture dealer has announced its collaboration with the TikTok viral baseball team Savannah Bananas to furnish the team’s new Savannah, Georgia headquarters.

Dubbed ”The Greatest Show in Sports,” the Savannah Bananas rose to viral fame by putting an emphasis on fun and fan entertainment with antics such as musical numbers, dance flash mobs and unorthodox twists on traditional baseball rules. Forward Tilt will partner with the Savannah Bananas to create a fully customized world headquarters that captures the team’s fun-loving personality and unique story in a one-of-a-kind space.

Michelle Heeb, President and CEO of Forward Tilt, was virtually introduced to Jesse Cole, Founder and Owner of the Savannah Bananas, during a dealer forum in 2020. Seeing Cole’s energy and similar experience-based mindset, Heeb immediately knew Forward Tilt had to be part of the Savannah Bananas movement.

“This will be far from your typical office,” Heeb said. “The Savannah Bananas headquarters will be a true stadium of fun. We can’t wait to bring a functional, collaborative environment to life for the world’s most exciting baseball team. There will be no doubt that this is the home office of the Savannah Bananas.”

As an entirely new space for the Savannah Bananas, the headquarters has been designed and customized to fit the team’s personality. Forward Tilt thoughtfully selected furnishings that will allow Savannah Bananas employees to connect and collaborate, with color palettes and finishes that reflect the energy and excitement of the ball club — including plenty of details in the team’s iconic yellow color.

Cole visited Forward Tilt employees and clients at an event at Forward Tilt’s Scottsdale showroom in early April. He spoke about the formation of the Savannah Bananas, his vision for the next era of the team, and how a Fans First approach can transform any business. In true Bananas fashion, Cole led a “finish that song” exercise in which guests were challenged with completing the tune of popular songs.

The kickoff event encompassed the synergy between the two forward-thinking brands.
