Duet: Partner In Health & Aging Hires Wendy Cohen, MPH to Senior Director of Services Role
By Michelle Talsma Everson - Thursday Nov 12, 2020
Wendy Cohen, MPH, watched her father spend 20 years as her homebound mother’s caregiver—an experience that made her acutely aware of all the support needed to help family caregivers. Fast forward to today and Duet: Partners In Health & Aging is proud to announce that Cohen has been hired as the nonprofit’s new senior services director where she will oversee Duet’s service areas and their mission to promote health and well-being through vitally needed services to homebound adults, family caregivers, faith communities, and grandfamilies.

"I was already familiar with Duet’s mission, but it wasn’t until I researched their breadth of services, values and guiding principles, that I knew it was an organization I wanted to be part of,” Cohen says. “I have always had a passion for volunteering and giving back to the community. I am excited to be the senior director of services at Duet so I can help expand and coordinate services to those most in need in the greater Phoenix area.”

Cohen brings more than 30 years of experience in strategic planning, revenue and fiscal management, and organizational and programmatic assessment. She holds a bachelor’s degree in health and society and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Prior to joining Duet, Cohen served as the interim executive director for the Phoenix Girls Chorus and president of Wendy Cohen Consulting.
