Christina Petsas has been named Communications and Outreach Manager at Arizona Family Health Partnership.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Petsas, who lives in Paradise Valley, will communicate with internal and external audiences to develop community relationships, coordinate outreach activities in support of family planning and Title X and increase AFHP’s visibility and name recognition through networking.

Petsas holds a dual degree in communications and Spanish/Portuguese from the University of Arizona where she was a summa cum laude graduate of the Honors College.

Her professional experience includes two years as a Placement Advisor for Kayla Responsible Travel in Quito, Ecuador where she worked with nonprofit partners and community programs across Latin America, Asia and Africa. While in Tucson, she led the development of a new advising website for students interested in sustainability and was the founder and director of the Sustainability Advocate Program.
