Say cheers to a new year at Kasai Japanese Steakhouse. Specializing in teppanyaki, Asian fusion and sushi, Kasai Japanese Steakhouse is an energizing Asian dining concept full of fire, flavor and excitement. Celebrate New Year’s Eve with a special menu that includes a grilled veal chop with cranberry coulis beurre blanc, crispy panko crusted bacon and cheese potato cake and grilled asparagus for $49. Guests can add a crab stuffed shrimp appetizer, plated over Togarashi Butter and served with Sweet Chili Sauce for $18. If dining at a teppan table, veal chop can be prepared Teppan style, with soup, salad, shrimp appetizer, fried rice, and Dole dessert for an additional $49. Bottles of Cristal are just $200.

These specials are available New Year’s Eve only, with seatings beginning at 3 p.m. and ending at 10:45 p.m. Reservations are required. Kasai will be open New Year’s Day at 3 p.m. Kasai Japanese Steakhouse is located at 14344 N. Scottsdale Rd., Scottsdale. New hours of operation are Monday through Thursday and Sunday: 3 to 9:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday: 3 to 10:30 p.m. Daily happy hour is from 3 to 6 p.m., and includes $2 off all beer and wine, $3 off all cocktails, $2 off all appetizers. Teppan happy hour is offered from 3 to 5 p.m.
