Ballet Arizona’s annual Dance With Me Gala recognizes and honors the organization’s patrons, board members and staff who continuously contribute to the success of the organization. This highly anticipated event will take place on April 5, 2024 at the Phoenix Art Museum and will celebrate the contributions made by Artistic Director Ib Andersen, as he concludes his final season after 24 years, as well as the Diane and Bruce Halle Foundation. The evening will be chaired by Kate Groves and is themed around the upcoming production, The Four Seasons, choreographed by Andersen.
Guests can enjoy a sneak peek of The Four Seasons before it makes its triumphant return to the Desert Botanical Stage May 15 to June 1, 2024. The Four Seasons made its world premiere in May of 2021 and features a journey in movement through spring, summer, autumn and winter.
“It is an honor to chair this year’s Dance With Me Gala, which will honor the generous philanthropy of The Diane and Bruce Halle Foundation who have been such extraordinary supporters of our ballet,” said Groves. “In addition, I am delighted and flattered to chair the Gala in Ib Andersen’s 24th and final season as we honor him as Artistic Director of Ballet Arizona and welcome him as Emeritus Artistic Director.”
All proceeds from the event support Ballet Arizona’s performance season as well as its education and community engagement programs. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed by the special performance from Ballet Arizona dancers. Following dinner, guests take the dance floor with the professional dancers for the remainder of the evening. Tickets for this festive evening begin at $600 and table sponsorships begin at $6,000.
