AZA United Plans 10th Annual Caring Hearts Luncheon for Dec. 14 Virtual Event
By Lindsay Hansen - Tuesday Nov 30, 2021
Arizona Autism United (AZA United) annual Caring Hearts Luncheon will be virtual on Dec. 14 at 12 p.m. The unique event will bring together hundreds of guests representing local autism, business and healthcare communities. Design Works Gaming and Magellan Cares are the Elite Sponsors of this year’s luncheon. All funds raised will go towards programs that support hundreds of children and families affected by autism in Arizona.

“Our luncheon is our biggest fundraiser,” said Aaron Blocher-Rubin, PhD, BCBA, president and CEO of AZA United. “We rely on the community to help us raise funds to continue to serve the families and children who need us most. We’re hoping to raise $60,000 for our current programs."

The past two years have been tough for everyone due to the pandemic, but autism diagnosis did not slow down during that time. Many families found out their children had autism or a development disability during COVID-19 and need services to support. In 2020, they opened a new East Valley Clinic and a new diagnostic clinic in Phoenix this fall of 2021. This past year, they also launched critical programs like Family Counseling, Diagnostic Evaluations and After School Program and Community Support Groups. Our goal is to improve wait times and expand our services to reach more Arizona families who need resources.

The luncheon is open to the public and corporate sponsorships available from $500 to $5,000. Guests will hear from AZA United CEO, as well as families who have received services.

To learn more about sponsorships, contact Paulina Tiffany, development director at 602-773-5780 or via email at [email protected]. To register for the luncheon, visit: http://www.AZAunited.org/2021Luncheon
