Arizona’s Children Association Hosts Women’s History Month Luncheon
Celebrating Her Story Event Set for March 9 at FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel
PHOENIX – Arizona’s Children Association (AzCA) is excited to announce its 2nd Annual “Celebrating Her Story” event, a Women’s History Month luncheon for supporters, corporate and community partners, and friends to gather and celebrate exemplary women who have demonstrated resiliency in times of adversity.
This year, the event is taking place on Thursday, March 9 at the FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel located at 1100 N. Central Ave. in Phoenix.
The luncheon will feature of empowering stories about resilience and expertise from strong women and youth speakers from all walks of life. These stories are meant to motivate women to succeed in their personal and professional lives.
Event panelist include Olympic Silver Medalist Lindsey Fry and Lt. Col. Elizabeth Romero from Luke Air Force Base as well as Liz Richardson, a mother whose child benefited from AzCA’s Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT). The NMT helped her family to identify key strengths, primary concerns, and apply interventions to address brain development challenges.
Author and AzCA board member, Nicole Lance, will be the host of “Celebrating Her Story”, and guests can buy her signed book, “Awesome on Your Own Terms.” The book is about achieving your own version of success and all proceeds from book sales will go to AzCA’s child welfare and behavioral health programs and services.
