Dr. Matthew Hammond and Dr. Michael Herion are both military veterans with a passion for individualized treatment with the newest equipment and technology.

Dr. Hammond previously served nine years on active duty as an ophthalmologist. He is being deployed in January of 2022 and Dr. Herion will continue to provide excellent ophthalmic care as Carrot will remain open for business. Both medical professionals received many awards during their service including Dr. Herion received the Air Force Commendation Medal for his service during The Global War on Terror and Dr. Hammond received the Meritorious Service Medal and the Humanitarian award for his relief work after Hurricane Katrina.
