The inaugural Arizona Salsa Fest concluded earlier this month with resounding success, marking the beginning of a spicy tradition in the West Valley. The new one-day festival, which took place on the Great Lawn outside State Farm Stadium, was a lively celebration of Arizona’s culinary heritage and culture.

The highlight of the event was the salsa tasting competition, where vendors showcased their finest saucy creations, vying for recognition as the best salsa in the state. The attendees voted and the Arizona Salsa Fest announced the winners on site:

Spiciest Salsa: Los Muertos Extreme Hot Salsa Blend
Best Overall Salsa: The Mexicano’s Fire Roasted Tomato Salsa

Each winner demonstrated unparalleled creativity and passion for salsa making, capturing the essence of Arizona’s vibrant culinary scene.

Building on the triumph of its inaugural year, the Arizona Salsa Fest is already gearing up for a bigger and spicier event in March 2025. Attendees can expect more vendors and exciting activities to indulge in their love for all things salsa.
