Arizona Oncology Unveils New Brand Inspired by its Desert Home and Ongoing Commitment to World-Class Cancer Care
By Christina Caldwell - Tuesday Dec 13, 2022
Arizona Oncology, one of the largest cancer treatment centers in the state with more than 50 physicians, has unveiled a new brand inspired by its desert home.

Arizona Oncology is proud to move into the future with a reinvigorated purpose and refreshed look. The launch comes alongside a resurgence in growth for the cancer center, which has brought new patients, employees and sites of service for the 24-year-old clinic, including new or increased presence in Goodyear, Oro Valley and Scottsdale.

Inspired by a barrel cactus blossom, the new logo paints a picture of the desert in bloom. Viewed from above, the cactus logo provides a different perspective and promises a holistic approach to cancer care. The green petals represent the Arizona Oncology community of highly specialized care providers, researchers and staff working together to deliver better cancer care today for a brighter tomorrow. The orange flower at the center reflects Arizona Oncology’s patient-centered approach and its commitment to improving the lives of its patients.

In addition to a new look and logo, Arizona Oncology has announced its newest tagline, “Thrive with and beyond cancer.” The tagline embodies Arizona Oncology’s commitment to not only providing leading-edge treatments backed by the most rigorous science, but also to compassionate care — not just treating the cancer, but the person as a whole.

“Thriving is not the same as surviving,” said Joseph Buscema, MD at Arizona Oncology. “Our care puts a health focus on our patients’ quality of life before, during and after treatment, allowing them to truly thrive. Arizona Oncology puts a focus on the person as a whole — their life, their story, their future. We maintain the highest quality cancer care in healthcare because of this humanistic approach.”
