Apricus Health Marks Milestone on Flagstaff Medical Campus
By Christina Caldwell - Wednesday Jan 05, 2022
Apricus Health, Arizona’s homegrown health care company providing members a one-on-one relationship with healthcare providers and value-based care, has reached a construction milestone by topping out its Flagstaff Medical Campus at 1895 N. Jasper Dr.

The 44,720 square-foot facility will include an 8-bed micro-hospital, including an Emergency Department, imaging center, cardiac cath lab and physician space to assist with the increasing demand for these services in the growing Flagstaff area.

“As an Arizona-based health care company, Apricus Health is excited to bring these specialties to Flagstaff,” said Dr. Kishlay Anand, President and Founder at Apricus Health. “We’re seeing a rising demand in the area for hospital, imaging and catheterization specialties, and we know our current and future patients will be thrilled with the convenience of this location.”

Apricus Health celebrated the milestone with a beam signing event with its executive team on Dec. 1, 2021. Designed by TriArc Architecture, a leader in ambulatory healthcare design, and constructed by Phoenix-based Wespac Construction, the Flagstaff medical campus was designed with ease of access and patient experience top of mind. Apricus partnered with Cypress West Partners in the development of the site.

The construction of the Flagstaff medical campus is part of Apricus Health’s goal to create a more efficient, patient-centric, value-based care model. In early 2021, Apricus Health completed its Series A equity funding and secured $20 million to fund additional growth in Arizona and throughout the United States. Apricus Health established its presence in the Flagstaff community in 2020, acquiring Flagstaff Family Care and increased its footprint in 2021 with the acquisition of Flagstaff Family Physicians, positioning the company as the Northern Arizona market leader in primary and specialty care with more than 20,000 patients.

The medical campus will open in phases beginning in 2022 with an estimated completion date in 2023.
